Let us weave a garland of pearls from the rosary, so we may become the roses of this beautiful garden

You have walked the village far and wide,
yet it's this place you have found

The Dance of Death, a representational type that was widespread during the plague epidemics in the late Middle Ages but is based on pagan traditions, is about the fact that in the end we all walk the same way, just as the former wearer of the apron from the exhibition. The living and the dead walk the last dance together, while one is joyful and the other is desperate. These aprons that once belonged to my grandmother are imbued with inheritance too, both as a personal belonging and as reminder for us all, that we humans inherit the same fate due to our impermanence.
